Did you know our SHS Library has an Instagram? If you get out your phone right now, and type in @seymour_owls_library, you should find it. Mrs. Peters posts and shares all about the library on Instagram, she would love for students and staff to send her a picture of the book they’re reading, and a brief summary of what the book is about.  You can also send what you like about the book and who you would recommend it to. An example would be, “I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good scare.” However, make sure not to spoil anything for interested students and staff. Make sure to DM on Instagram or email Mrs. Peters at [email protected] about your book recommendations. You can also find more things on the page, including books, chess, and game day club meeting days. 

 As well as this, Mrs. Peters and the library want all the students of SHS to follow the account, which has 64 followers right now. Lets get it higher!

You don’t have to be a book lover who reads 15 books a month to follow, everyone is welcomed. Not everyone loves to read in their free time or even finds it that fun. However, we all have one book in our lives that changes our perspective on the world, even if we haven’t found it yet. I encourage you to stop by the library and pick out a book for yourself.  You never know where it will take you. Let’s share the magic through SHS!
