The end of the 23-24 school year is right around the corner, and with that comes sectionals. The IHSAA drew for sectionals on Sunday, starting with 1A and worked their way down. The Seymour Lady Owls are 4A and were drawn in Sectional 15. The owls recieved the best draw they could have gotten, and they will be playing New Albany in Game 2. These teams met earlier in the season, where Seymour suffered a loss with a score of 10-9. Unfortunately, the owls are currently 0-4 in the conference and 5-10 overall. New Albany is 3-2 in the Hoosier Hills conference and 6-9 overall.
Other games in this sectional feature Bedford North Lawrence facing off against Floyd Central, and Jennings County playing the victor of that game. Jeffersonville will plan to take on the winner of the Seymour-New Albany game.
