The Lady Owls kicked off their season on Saturday against the Salem Lions, and they did not disappoint. The Owls played a very balanced game, with three players having 10+ points. Let’s not forget the defense. Only allowing 8 points shows what this team is made of. Let’s take a look at how the Owls won this game.
Junior Emmy Munson led the team with 14 points and was a focal point of this offense. Junior Sophie Skidmore added 10 points and three assists, while sophomore Kelsea Huntley scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds. This game was a great team effort by the Lady Owls and should be a sign of more to come.
The Lady Owls move to 1-0 on the season and will play the 1-0 Silver Creek Dragons at home on Friday, 11/15. Owls Will.
