Indy Ignite is new professional indoor volleyball team based in indianapolis, Indiana. The team is co-owned by Jim Schumacher and Don Hutchinson, and is based at Fishers Event Center. In the beginning of 2024, the owners released the name, logo, and head coach, George Padjen.

After the Pro Volleyball Foundation announced the expansion team was coming to Indy, fans have been anxiously waiting to watch the team. On Saturday, January 11, 2025, fans finally got to watch the teams first match in Fishers Event Center, taking on the Orlando Valkyries.
Orlando declared the first match with a score of 25-13. However, Indy spiked back with winning the last three sets by scoring 25-19, 25-17, and 25-21. Clinching a 3-1 win over the Orlando Valkyries.
Highlights from the game:
- Leketor Member-Meneh guided the team with 25 kills
- Azhani Tealer was close with 19 kills
- Sydney Hilley had 44 assists with 15 digs
The team will play another home game on Thursday, January 16 at 7pm. Indy Ignite will play a total of 25 games before the regular season ends in May.
