On August 9th, 2025, 12 drum corps took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Drum Corps International Finals. All summer, corps from all over the world had been preparing for this moment. From practice in the blazing sun to cross country tours, they spent their days practicing in hopes to make it to the finals.
Performing their show “Boom,” the Boston Crusaders took home the win for the first time in history. It was a close call, winning by 0.175 points, just barely beating the Bluecoats. The show had a retro-futuristic concept that explored the idea of innovation and the fear surrounding it. The show was filled with bright colors and interesting props that helped convey the story.
Here were the final results:
1 – Boston Crusaders – 98.425
2 – Bluecoats – 98.250
3 – Santa Clara Vanguard – 96.700
