“Drunk-Dazed” – ENHYPEN
“Drunk-Dazed,” released by ENHYPEN in 2021, is the lead single from ENHYPEN’s EP BORDER: CARNIVAL. Now I’m not an avid K-Pop fan, however I think this song has changed that for me. I was a little skeptical when I first heard this song, so I was hoping they were working up to something better. As soon as I heard that chorus, it really brought something out in me. If you like the kind of music that makes you wanna start dancing while you’re laying in bed, I recommend this to you. Even though I have no clue what they are singing, I bet it’s probably pretty fire, 8.5/10.
“House Tour” – Sabrina Carpenter
“House Tour” is the 11th track on Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend. The album explores very sexual themes, but especially this song. “And I promise none of this is a metaphor” nice try Sabrina, I know what you’re doing… As much as I would want to listen to this with other people, I could imagine the weird looks on their faces when they listen to the lyrics. But besides that, there’s some pretty clever lyricism, and it’ll get stuck in your head for days. But the part that’s been stuck has been the first two lines of the chorus. I couldn’t tell you what the rest of the song is. Overall, it’s a decent song. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys fun and not serious pop music, but definitely not my parents, 7.5/10.
“Bleed (feat. Omar Apollo)” – Malcolm Todd
When you see these names, you already know the song is going to be good. Out of the handful of Malcolm Todd songs I’ve listened to, this has to be my favorite. The instrumentals in this are amazing and lyrics that depict the intimacy and vulnerability of relationships really get the point across. You really have to listen to the song to understand how good it is. I recommend this song to anyone but especially anyone who enjoys indie-pop, 10/10.
