Mr. Steve Bush is the new assistant principal this year. He is a familiar face on the daily announcements video. He is originally from Jackson, Michigan. The past five years, he was the principal at Redding Elementary School and before that he was a 4th grade teacher at Jackson Elementary School. Before he came to Seymour, he was a 3rd and 4th grade teacher in Corunna, Michigan. He has a wife, Kristin, and two daughters, Sydney, 13, and Audra, 11. He enjoys golfing, attending concerts, swimming, and spending time with his family in his free time. He came to SHS in order to develop relationships with the students and staff. When asked why he decided to come to Seymour High School, his response was, “An opportunity to serve SCSC students and staff in a place that has tremendous history, leadership, and growth”.
