Blackened Salmon and Green Beans

If you need an easy weeknight dinner, look to Blackened Salmon! It’s so easy; you’re supposed to burn it! The pan-seared green beans complement the fish phenomenally.
Ingredients – Serves 2
- Two filets of salmon
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
- One knob of butter (or margarine, if that’s your thing)
- 12 oz. fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1.2 fl. oz. Soy sauce
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- In a shallow pan, heat your olive oil until it shimmers.
- Season your salmon to your liking and cook until all sides begin to char.
- In a saute pan, melt the butter and toss in the green beans
- Stir-fry the beans for 6 minutes; then add your soy sauce. Cover.
- Steam the green beans in the soy sauce for another 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover, season, plate, and enjoy!
