If you need an easy weeknight dinner, look to Blackened Salmon! It’s so easy; you’re supposed to burn it! The pan-seared green beans complement the fish phenomenally.

Ingredients – Serves 2

  • Two filets of salmon
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • One knob of butter (or margarine, if that’s your thing)
  • 12 oz. fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1.2 fl. oz. Soy sauce
  • Salt and Pepper

  1. In a shallow pan, heat your olive oil until it shimmers.
  2. Season your salmon to your liking and cook until all sides begin to char.
  3. In a saute pan, melt the butter and toss in the green beans
  4. Stir-fry the beans for 6 minutes; then add your soy sauce. Cover.
  5. Steam the green beans in the soy sauce for another 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Uncover, season, plate, and enjoy!
