Many local businesses have crafted unique food items to celebrate the total solar eclipse passing over Seymour on Monday, April 8 in the afternoon. Moxie Coffee Company

Pizza Hut
The pizza chain is marking the eclipse with its “Total Eclipse of the Hut” deal. Customers can get any large pizza, including create-your-own pizzas with up to 10 toppings, Thin ‘N Crispy, Hand Tossed Pizza, and Original Pan Pizza. The deal is valid for carryout, dine-in, and delivery.
Sonic Drive-In
To mark the eclipse, Sonic has created the Blackout Slush Float, a limited-edition dragon fruit and cotton candy-flavored drink with sprinkles. Customers who buy the float will get a free pair of eclipse viewing glasses. The offer is valid now through May 5.
Burger King
The burger chain is giving away free whoppers to Royal Perks members all day on April 8. Text the keyword “ECLIPSE” to 251251 to claim the buy-one-get-one offer, which can be redeemed via the BK app or website. The offer is valid through April 15.
