September 17 against Floyd Central- The Owls took on Floyd Central away from home on a hot Tuesday night. The Highlanders started quickly, scoring two goals in the first 10 minutes. Junior Isaac Schafer scored for Seymour to have the lead, but Floyd added two more goals to make final score 4-1.

September 19 against Madison- The Owls traveled to Madison for a conference match-up. Midway through the second half, Seymour found themselves down 2-0 to the Cubs. Two penalty kicks were given to Seymour in just 90 seconds, both of which were drawn by senior Simon Akers. Junior Carter Hendrix converted each of them, and the Owls escaped with a draw.

September 21 against Center Grove- The Owls faced sixth ranked Center Grove at home on Saturday. The Trojans thoroughly dominated from beginning to end, scoring six goals and conceding only one. Seymour’s lone goal was scored by junior captain Cameron Cox.

September 24 against Jennings County- The Owls grabbed their second win of the season against the Panthers. Seymour dominated throughout the game, winning 3-0. Goalscorers in the game were junior Carter Hendrix and junior captain Cameron Cox (2).

Boys soccer’s record is now 2-8-4.
