Before Thanksgiving Break last week, the Owls’ swimming and diving team traveled to Madison Consolidated High School to take on the Cubs. The Owls are underclassmen-heavy with just 5 returning seniors. That inexperience showed for the boys in a tough 104-72 loss, but the girls grasped the reigns and pounded out a 133-46 win. The Lady Owls touched first in 11 out of 12 events with the sole silver in the 200 Free Relay. The only first place for the boys was from Kaleb Brown in 1m diving. The Owls’ next meet is Tuesday, December 3 when they travel to Jeffersonville to take on the Red Devils. The first home meet is Thursday, December 5 at 5:30 against Columbus North. Go Owls!
