Carl Weathers Leaves a Lasting Legacy

He lived a legend and died a legend. On February 1st the late Rocky star and pro football player Carl Weathers passed away at the age of 76. Over his vast movie career, Weathers had  over 80 film and television credits including appearances in Happy Gilmore, Arrested Development, The Mandolorian, Predator, and, most prominently, the Rocky franchise.  Best known for his role as Apollo Creed, the cocky all-american fighter who faced off against Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky in both the first and second movie of the same name, Weathers made a name for himself in Hollywood.  More recently, he had been nominated for an Emmy for his role as Greef Karga in The Mandolorian.  Weather’s star power, on-screen charisma, and acting prowess will be missed by his many fans around the world.
