On Febuary 17th at the annual Philadelphia sneaker con, two pairs of shoes no one wanted, but still got anyway were released: the Donald Trump signature collection.  Both a pair of high tops (the “Never Surrender High Top Sneaker”) and tennis shoes with a large “T” on the side are priced $399 and $199 respectfully.  This comes as no suprise to Trump’s followers and detractors as this is his third attempt at monetaziation of his fame.  In the last year, Trump has released both an NFT (Nonfungible Token) collection, comprised of trading cards with his likeness on the body of muscle bound superheros, and a variety of merchandise with his now infamous mugshot plastered on it.  Trump has always been a buisnessman at heart, and now that he’s 350 million dollars in court-ordered debt, it seems he’s willing to do anything to recoup his losses.  Along with this new venture, which includes a cologne and perfume sale as well, there has been a “GoFundMe” created by a wealthy beneafactor who believes he was unjustly sentenced.  Donald Trump has made a name for himself even during his post-presidential acitivites, and this may help raise his acclaim during the upcoming election.
