Bronny James: the life of LeBron's son

When Bronny James was younger he was one of the most recruited prospects for college basketball ranking 19th in the United States. With being the son of one of the greatest basketball players in the last 20 years it can put a lot of pressure especially at such a young age even as little as 10 years old when he was first publicized for his talent.

Lebron has been very open about wanting to play with Bronny when he gets to the league. This has increased the pressure to perform at a high level and many sports analysts and coaches think Bronny should’ve gotten more experience in college. After High School at Sierra Canyon he was projected to join the USC Men’s Basketball team. during a team practice Bronny unfortunately fell into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. This unfortunate event caused him to be absent from practice and put on rest for most of the season with minimal playing time. When he was allowed to play fully, his college experience was too minimal to really be effective for USC.

The only problem about him getting drafted is he was too young. No college experience for undersized guards which Bronny Is only 6’2 way below the NBA average can cause a skill gap. If you’re 6’7 or 6’10 you have a height advantage but for someone who is small you have to develop so much skill to be able to compete with guys at that high of a level. Less experience might cause him to be bumped down to the G league but The Lakers have been very open about Bronny playing in the rotation on day 1.  We will see how he holds up but more experience has been proven to allow players to adapt physically and mentally to the environment.
