Jeremy Wischmeier

Serving as a teacher for 20 years, Jeremy Wischmeier will be remembered as this loss is very great for many in the Seymour school system and the Jackson County community.

Students and staff are remembering Mr. Wischmeier by wearing his color rotation all week. Every day of the week he wore a certain color for a specific reason. Monday meant the “Monday blues,” so he wore blue. Tuesday, Mr. Wischmeier remembered the stock market crash by wearing black. Wednesdays were always pink and breast cancer awareness attire. Mr. Wischmeier always wore purple for Seymour on Thursdays, and on Fridays he honored the military by wearing red. Even in a small way, we are remembering and honoring him by continuing his tradition.
