With Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) officially coming to an end, we are trying to keep our spirits high. Despite the effort of those in JAG, after many years of helping students grow, graduate, and prepare for the future, the program is not returning. While it’s sad to say goodbye, the last days will be focused on friendship, memories, and achievements that made the program so special.
To end the year, several events are taking place for students in JAG. A pizza party will give everyone a chance to relax and celebrate the hard work that was put in throughout the years. Additionally, there will be a summer BBQ for JAG students to spend time together and enjoy a meal.
In addition to the celebration, Mrs. Bowman, the JAG specialist, has been giving away classroom supplies since she will no longer be at Seymour High School. Her generosity and kindness are greatly appreciated by those around her.
Although the JAG program is officially ending, the impact it had on students will not be forgotten. The lessons learned, memories created, and the support given will continue to stick with everyone throughout the years.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make JAG such an important part of the school and community. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Bowman for her dedication to her students and to the program.
