Where the SHS class of 2026 athletes are heading

We are less than one month away from the class of 2026 walking across the stage and graduating from high school. A lot of students will be heading off to college to pursue their passions, and a good number of those students will be continuing their athletic careers in college. Here are all the class of 2026 Seymour High School students who will be continuing their academic and athletic careers in college.

Fall Sport Athletes

Anna Fish- Tulane University (D1) / Volleyball

Norah Campbell- Morehead State (D1) / Volleyball

Traysean Hawkins- University of Indianapolis (D2) / Football

Emmy Followell- Indiana University East (NAIA) / Golf

 

Winter Sport Athletes

Lane Villarreal- University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (D3) / Swimming

Addy Castetter- DePauw University (D3) / Swimming

Sophie Skidmore- Indiana University Southeast (NAIA) / Basketball

 

Spring Sport Athletes

Sawyer Smith- Lincoln University of Missouri (D2) / Baseball

Elmer Rivera- Mount St. Joseph University (D3) / Track & Field

Taylor Stuckwisch- Mount St. Joseph University (D3) / Softball

Mackenzie Bryson- Hanover College (D3) / Softball

Lainey Sandlin- Indiana University Columbus (NAIA) / Softball

Kennedy Burnette- Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (NAIA) / Track & Field

Jackson Trueblood- Wabash Valley College (NJCAA) / Baseball

 

A total of 14 student athletes from Seymour High School will be playing at the collegiate level next year, and out of those 14, the states that they will be attending college in include Indiana (7), Ohio (2), Kentucky, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Illinois (1). Let’s support our Owls as they take the next step in their lives. Good luck to all the class of 2026 seniors in all their future endeavors.
