The boys and girls cross country team had their first meet last night, August 22, at Freeman Field. Both teams have been running hard all summer, and finally got to show off on the course. The boys and girls both had a fun time running at their only home meet this season. Running in the mud and rain does not stop Makenna Sunbury, which placed first with a time of 21:09:04 and Luke Plummer, which also placed first with a time of 17:45:91. Both teams were very happy they finished in first place. The girls team ended up with a score of 25 and the Boys with a score of 24, coming out on top for the meet.
