The Owl Student Newspaper is inviting all SHS students and staff to bring their creativity to it’s Poetry Contest, open now through April 24th. Whether your an experienced writer or someone who enjoys being creative, the contest allows everyone to put their thoughts on a page.
Participants can submit poems in two categories: Ekphrastic Poetry (inspired by a picture) or Free Verse (Writer’s freedom). Both categories are open to both staff and students. It is the perfect opportunity for everyone to share their diverse voices.
The Owl’s goal is to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and highlight the talent within the SHS community. The newspaper will like to feature some entries on their site, so please note if you do not want your poem included. All submissions must be completed by April 24th.
Poems can be submitted through the Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeM-MeDo5WpZewY5XwaA1m1GJhxvT52YT-c-3kF7SY9uU4Vhw/viewform

Don’t miss your chance to be part of an exciting opportunity!
