The most strangely captivating festival in Indianapolis

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the whimsically peculiar Oddities and Curiosities Expo in Indianapolis. The festival featured a variety of eye-catching handmade art, taxidermy, and other miscellaneous items. Products ranged anywhere from taxidermy raccoons dressed up like dolls to jewelry made from genuine spider webs.

Small businesses had the opportunity to display their original and unique products, whilst a sizable crowd looked through them. However, the festival wasn’t just about horror and oddities that might make someone’s stomach turn, it also featured more lighthearted products and an abundance of beautifully created handmade art. Other activities during the festival included a magician’s show and a sword act, providing entertainment once all of the different vendor booths have been looked through. There was even a taxidermy class in the building, along with activities such as tarot readings.

The festival was truly the most odd and unique event I’ve been to, and therefore a personal favorite by far. For paranormal enthusiasts and horror lovers everywhere, this festival is the perfect opportunity to find an experience and possibly even a souvenir that you could not find anywhere else.
