The iHeartRadio awards are coming back on April 1st, and here is what you should expect.

Every year the iHeartRadio Music Award show comes around and awards many artists in many genres for their incredible work. This year, many artists have multiple nominations: Taylor Swift, Jelly Roll, Olivia Rodrigo, and Beyonce just to name a few.

The show will air performances of some of the greatest groups of all time and follow them up with some performances from new and upcoming artists. The performers consist of Green Day, TLC, Justin Timberlake, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and Tate McRae.

One of the most prestigious annual awards will be gifted this year as well. The Icon Award, previously won by the likes of Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, and P!nk will be awarded to Cher. This will be shown by a special musical tribute to her work and contribution to the industry for the past several decades.

The show will also feature the Artist of the Year award, the Song of the Year award, the New Pop Star of the Year award, and many other notable categories. In the Alt category, some of the greatest 2000s voices are up for an award. Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Green Day, and Fallout Boy are all eligible to win multiple categories this year.

In the country category, performers like Zach Bryan, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and Morgan Wallen along with others are up to the challenge with several nominations coming from this group.

Also, enjoy various nominations from cultural and decade-defining icons like Shakira, Miley Cyrus, Usher, and Drake.
