The Archery Owls competed in the Cougar Classic at North Harrison this past weekend. Team #1 took first place at the Cougar Classic with a score of 3286. Individual placings for the girls include 1st place, Hannah Busby, with a score of 284, 2nd place, Kaylee Tudor, with a score of 283, and 3rd place, Hannah Ackeret, with a score of 279. The boys individual placings include 3rd place, Ethan McKinney, with a score of 279, 4th place, Evan Kegeris, with a score of 279, and 5th place, Jaden Beavers, with a score of 279. Coach Jill Purkhiser said, “Glad to be back shooting again! This was our first away tournament of the season.” The top score this year so far is Senior Kielar Greer with a score of 293 at the State Qualifier. Team #1 found out Wednesday night that they qualified for the State Tournament. The Owl staff sends a special congratulations to all of the Archery Owls who competed this past weekend!
