Wrestling season finishes off strong

On February 28th, Olivia Compton placed 8th at Fresh-Soph State. This is an incredible achievement for her to finish off her freshman season. Olivia would have placed higher if she didn’t get injured in her second to last match.

On March 1st, AnnMarie Shuler, Linkin Royalty, and Chase Koznarsky all placed 1st at Diesel City Tournament to finish off their seasons. AnnMarie is in her final season as a senior, Linkin Royalty just finished his freshman season, and Chase Koznarsky just finished his sophomore year.

The SHS Wrestlers had a great season, and it will be exciting to watch next year!

I’m Chase Koznarsky, a sophomore at SHS. This is my first year on The Owl, and I hope to learn from my new experience on the newspaper staff. This will be my 4th year on the wrestling team, and I enjoy swimming and hanging out with my friends in my free time.
