2025 Formula 1 season comes to an end

Formula 1 is an open-wheeled, single-seater motorsport that has taken place across the globe since 1950. The Grand Prix weekend begins on Friday with drivers practicing for an hour in the morning and another in the afternoon. On Saturday, drivers have another practice session before competing in qualify. Drivers go out onto the track on their own accord, attempting to get the fastest time. The faster the time, the higher up your starting place on the grid is. On Sunday, drivers race a certain amount of laps and the fastest three are awarded podium trophies. The constructor’s trophy is given to the race winner’s team. This year, four time world champion Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and Oscar Piastri have been the top three contenders for the world title.

After a tough-fought season, Lando Norris has earned his maiden championship title. Despite his win in Abu Dhabi, Max Verstappen fell 2 points short of taking home a 5th world championship.
