The library renovation will end earlier than planned due to the recent budget cuts. With rising prices, administrators says funds must be redirected to more urgent expenses. As a result, the original plans for new bookshelves, furniture, and study spaces will not be completed. Instead, the spaces will be converted into a general meeting area for teachers and staff, allowing for more collaboration space. Some areas of the library may remain unfinished, and students will rely more on online resources moving forward.  Mrs. Prange will now retire, and Mrs. Peters will now take her place. Mrs. Peters commented, “I’ve been dreaming of becoming the SHS librarian for a long time now. I hope that we can raise money in the future to eventually buy physical books!”

A student commented on these changes, saying, “I’m excited that these changes are all false, and I want to wish everyone a wonderful April Fool’s Day!”
